MOMRA National GIS Center- Phase 2

The first phase of the project involved providing consultancy services for a variety of studies to establish a comprehensive GIS center, which is capable to provide a nationwide GIS services based on SDE, and cloud concepts. The scope of the studies includes current status & gap analysis, GIS center business model,the proposed organizational hierarchy, mission, vision, objectives of the GIS center and lastly RFP for the first phase of the GIS center establishment.

The second phase involved developing a National GIS center, which can accommodate all Geo-spatial data of more than 250 municipalities. Additionally, Dar Al Riyadh also established a training Center and trained MOMRA employees on the usage of the GIS database.

Dar Al Riyadh also provided GIS services, licenses and applications to about 240 sub municipalities around the kingdom.

Scope of work: Establishment of a comprehensive institutional GIS center for MOMRA.
