King Abdullah Financial District

Situated in the Asahafa area of Riyadh, The King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) is one of the largest construction sites anywhere in the world. This development is being undertaken by the Rayadah Investment Corporation, the investment arm of the Pension Authority of Saudi Arabia, and will include fifty-nine high-rise towers for both residential and commercial occupation. This self-contained 1.6 million square meter district will house retail, entertainment and hospitality offerings as well as 62,000 parking spaces, all surrounded by lush, landscaped public open spaces all serviced by an ultra-modern light rail link.

Scope includes,

Providing Resident Engineer Consultancy services including post contract cost management and contract administration (cost
control, value engineering, procurement, strategic advice and dispute resolution services) and Supervising the construction of all works designed by the Design & Build Contractors from construction through to handover and defects liability for 2 packages totalling 36 parcels within excess of 50 towers with associated infrastructure.
