Dar Al Riyadh Hosts Chairman of Oman’s Special Economic Zones and Free Zones Authority at Its Riyadh Headquarters
His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Al Saud, Chairman of Dar Al Riyadh, received at the company’s headquarters in Riyadh His Excellency Qais bin Mohammed Al-Yousef, Chairman of Oman’s Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones, who is visiting the Kingdom at the head of an official delegation including a number of senior officials. The delegation was welcomed by Dar Al Riyadh CEO Abdullah Al Mustaneer, along with members of the company’s leadership team.
This visit underscores the strong professional ties between Dar Al Riyadh and Oman’s Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones, and highlights the trust placed in the company as a leading Saudi provider of engineering consultancy and project management services.
During the meeting, both sides explored future cooperation opportunities and exchanged expertise in the fields of urban planning, infrastructure development, and project management. Discussions also addressed ways to strengthen collaboration between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman on projects related to special economic zones, free zones, and industrial cities, as well as leveraging best practices and advanced technologies in the development and planning of masterplans.
The two sides also reviewed key updates related to the Special Economic Zone in Al Dhahirah Governorate, which is being designed and supervised by a Saudi-Omani consortium that includes Dar Al Riyadh and the National Engineering Office. This collaboration reflects confidence in national capabilities and specialized expertise in delivering high-quality development projects.
Dar Al Riyadh CEO Abdullah Al Mustaneer stated: “The visit of the delegation from Oman’s Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones reflects the depth of the professional ties that bring us together with development entities in the Sultanate. This engagement comes as part of Dar Al Riyadh’s ongoing approach to expanding its partnerships with regional and international entities, and reinforcing its position as a Saudi center of expertise contributing to the delivery of major projects and specialized solutions at both the local and regional levels.
