Dar Al Riyadh has achieved another significant milestone in occupational health and safety by winning the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) award from the United Kingdom. This recognition, one of the most prestigious and respected accolades in the field, highlights the company's dedication to workplace safety standards.

Winning this award for the second year running, after receiving the RoSPA Gold Award in 2024, underscores Dar Al Riyadh's continued excellence and steady commitment to upholding international safety standards.

Dar Al Riyadh has earned an award from the UK-based RoSPA in recognition of the company's strong and ongoing commitment to preventing falls and accidents, setting high safety standards and protecting the health and well-being of its employees in the workplace. This honor also represents the successful outcome of consistent efforts, and a long-term strategy focused on creating an organizational culture that prioritizes prevention and raises awareness within the wider community.

This year marks the 69th edition of the RoSPA Awards, featuring participation from approximately 2,000 organizations across more than 50 countries, representing over seven million employees worldwide. It is the largest global awards program dedicated to recognizing outstanding achievements in health and safety.

The Royal Society employs rigorous evaluation criteria across various sectors, with organizations participating either through competitive categories or non-competitive recognition programs. This achievement further demonstrates Dar Al Riyadh's persistent efforts to create a sustainable workplace that maintains high safety standards and embeds values of care and professionalism across all operational areas.

Julia Small, Director of Growth at RoSPA, remarked: "Dar Al Riyadh should be proud of this accomplishment. It reflects their serious and persistent commitment to individual safety and demonstrates their ability to implement the highest international standards in the workplace."

The Royal Society regards Dar Al Riyadh as a strong example for integrating health and safety principles into core operational processes, recognizing the direct positive impact this has on employees, clients, and the broader community.

Malcolm Hamilton, Group HSEQ Director at Dar Al Riyadh, commented: "This global recognition validates our steadfast commitment to providing a safe and motivating work environment. It reflects our vision of people-first leadership. This honor is the product of collaboration and dedication from all our teams, who have made safety an absolute, non-negotiable priority."

Dee Arp, NEBOSH Chief Quality Officer and the Head Judge of the RoSPA Awards, said: “NEBOSH is delighted to be the headline sponsor of the RoSPA Awards. Recognizing excellence in health and safety is essential to ensure we celebrate achievement, but it is also about reinforcing a culture of care, accountability and continuous improvement. These awards serve as a powerful reminder that employee safety and wellbeing transcends borders and looking after our people drives sustainable success and resilience.”
